Mr. Schumacher is a seasoned provider of valuation opinions and related financial advisory and consulting services in connection with strategic, tax & accounting and legal matters, respectively. His clients over his long career in professional services have included public and private companies, trustees, financial sponsors, family offices and legal counsel on behalf of their clients. He has provided and led valuation analyses of business interests, complex equity and debt securities, intangible assets, earnouts and derivatives, for various purposes including financial reporting, family law, tax, ESOP, dispute and strategic matters, including fairness and solvency opinions.
Mr. Schumacher started his career as an auditor at a then Big Six public accounting firm, leading external and internal audit work. He later moved on to management consulting before earning an MBA at what is now the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Mr. Schumacher is a long-time resident of the north side of Chicago, along with his wife and daughter.
